An opportunity has arisen within The Hewitt Fertility Centre Liverpool for an Administrator Ward Clerk, who is a bright, committed, and enthusiastic individual. You would be working within a rapidly developing service and should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. A background in an administration role is essential. The unit is operational between 07.00am and 17.00pm currently. The Hewitt Fertility Centre supports a 7 day service.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for providing an efficient clerical support service to the organisation supporting the clinical and nursing team, Fertility Screening Clinic (FSC) follow up clinic, and Hewitt Centre Patient Information. The post holder will prepare case notes for FSC and IVF clinics, Hewitt Centre Patient Information, including the retrieval, sorting and filing of patients' results, with particular attention to data entry and maintenance and filing of patient case notes. The post holder will be required to be proficient in the use of Information Technology and supporting technologies to enable the discharge of duties in an efficient and effective manner

Prepare and make Hycosy appointments on receipt of referral.Scan, fax and post patient prescriptions to offsite Pharmacy. Respond to requests from clinical staff for patient information, accessing computer records or case notes including retrieval of notes from the Hewitt Fertility Centres Records store, the Hewitt Centres offsite storage and Gynae Notes from the Trust Library where appropriate.Coding - Ensure all attendances for nurse appointments are entered on Digicare and liaise with appropriate Trust staff to ensure all patients attendances are accounted for and that all information is correct.
