The Hewitt Fertility Centre Liverpool is one of Britain's largest Reproductive medicine units providing a comprehensive service to both NHS and fee paying patients. The Hewitt Fertility Centre is wholly committed to providing a high quality service to patients who attend the centre, for a range of fertility related investigations and treatments

An opportunity has arisen within The Hewitt Fertility Centre Liverpool for an Administrator Ward Clerk, who is a bright, committed, and enthusiastic individual. You would be working within a rapidly developing service and should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. A background in an administration role is essential. The unit is operational between 07.00am and 17.00pm currently. The Hewitt Fertility Centre supports a 7 day service.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for providing an efficient clerical support service to the organisation supporting the clinical and nursing team, Fertility Screening Clinic (FSC) follow up clinic, and Hewitt Centre Patient Information. The post holder will prepare case notes for FSC and IVF clinics, Hewitt Centre Patient Information, including the retrieval, sorting and filing of patients' results, with particular attention to data entry and maintenance and filing of patient case notes. The post holder will be required to be proficient in the use of Information Technology and supporting technologies to enable the discharge of duties in an efficient and effective manner
