Job summary

Hewitt Fertility Centre is looking to recruit 2 Clinical Fellows - One post will be on a permanent basis and the 2nd post will be a Fixed Term for 12 Months. Working across fertility clinics in Liverpool and Knutsford.

We are advertising for a Clinical Fellow (Locally employed doctor) in Reproductive medicine for our Liverpool and Knutsford sites to complement our existing medical workforce.

The successful candidate will assist with the running of the comprehensive fertility units at Liverpool Women's Hospital and Hewitt Fertility Centre, Knutsford. The post holder will be expected to be flexible with their weekly timetable as service need dictates. This may include clinical sessions, including day-time weekend work, and cross-location clinic cover. You will work with a team of consultants in providing outpatient clinics.

  • GMC with specialist registration

Desirable

  • MRCOG or equivalent

Research

  • Clinical Training and experience in: ? General obstetrics and gynaecology ? reproductive medicine interest ? Ability to work independently once competent.

Desirable

  • ultrasonography (3D/4D)
  • Demonstrable experience in assisted reproduction and fertility related surgery
  • Reproductive Medicine Procedures including: ? Oocyte Collection ? Embryo Transfer

Special aptitudes/ abilities, e.g. initiative, leadership, ability to work on own or with others

  • Ability to work in a team-orientated environment and to work without friction with colleagues
  • Good communication skills
