Main duties of the job
The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK's leading providers of non-surgical cancer treatment, caring for a population of 2.4 million people across Cheshire & Merseyside, North Wales, the Isle of Man and parts of Lancashire.
They will work alongside the medical and nursing teams, predominately in our Clinical Decision Unit, providing urgent care for patients experiencing side effects from their cancer or cancer treatments. They will also provide clinical leadership on our inpatient wards both in and out of hours, inclusive of delivering the 24 Hour Hotline Triage Service.
Therefore the post holder should have significant leadership and management experience and have experience providing specialist education and training to staff. They should be able to evidence autonomous practice with advanced clinical decision making.The post holder will be part of a 24/7 day service working long days and nights, weekend and inclusive of bank holidays.

- Non-medical prescribing qualification with portfolio supporting attainment of competency
- Post-basic qualification in cancer/palliative care or relevant subject

- Advanced Communications Skills Training
- Recognised teaching qualification
