Clatterbridge Cancer Centre has a fantastic opportunity for a qualified pharmacy technician to join the Digital Pharmacy Team and help us deliver a quality digital medicines service to the trust.
As part of the digital pharmacy team, this post holder will be using their experience in pharmacy to maintain drug catalogues, labels and worksheets within the EPR. You will be supported to develop into the role with a experienced team to support and be given opportunities to support project work in trust.
Key to the role is engagement with stakeholders within the trust and its subsidiary pharmacy and also system suppliers to ensure the system is developed and maintained appropriately.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a digital pharmacy technician and the purpose of this role is to:
o Liaise with stakeholders in Pharmacy to build and maintain the Digital Pharmacy systems that includes drug catalogues, stock management, manufacturing worksheets and medicines sets to a high standard.o Support the digital pharmacy team with the piloting and testing of Digital Pharmacy developments and upgrades prior to going live.o Work closely with the Lead Informatics Pharmacy Technician and other stakeholders to ensure the Digital Pharmacy projects are delivered as per agreed project plans. o Support the Lead Informatics Pharmacy Technician with the development of robust policies, standard operating procedures and work instructions pertaining to the use of Digital Pharmacy systems.o Assist in the development of EPMA Business Continuity Planning.o Respond to and advise on user system queries and problems and taking relevant action.

- Level 3 QCF Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills (NVQ) or equivalent

Desirable
- Change management or project management qualification e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner
