Job summary
Cheshire and Merseyside Diagnostic Programme is a Cheshire and Merseyside Acute and Specialist Trust Collaborative (CMAST) transformation programme. The role is to provide specialist programme and project management to the programme, initially within the Pathology Network.
The postholder will work with the wider network team on a variety of programmes and projects, supporting senior team members and providing leadership and guidance to others within the team. There are a wide range of transformation projects already underway and the postholder will be allocated a project portfolio. There will be digital projects within the portfolio and experience of managing digital projects would be desirable

Main duties of the job
The Programme Manager will deliver transformation projects/programmes across organisations in all sectors within Cheshire and Merseyside. The post holder will work with the team, delivering transformation projects funded by the Cancer Alliance, NHSEI, Health Education England and the ICS.
This role is largely based in the Cheshire and Merseyside Pathology Network although there will be cross network projects with other networks in the Diagnostic Programme
The Programme Manager will manage their own portfolio of projects, provide oversight, leadership and management to the staff within their team and be a member of both the Pathology Network and The Diagnostic Programme.
