Deputy Ward Manager
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate for a Deputy Ward Manager on ward 3. This position is for a Band 6 at 36 hours per week.
The individual should have extensive oncology experience. Be able to demonstrate good leadership skills. The candidate must have oncology and a mentorship qualification. You would also be required to carry out extended clinical skills.

Main duties of the job
As a band 6 Deputy ward manager on the ward, you must be able to take charge of the ward, support junior members of the team and demonstrate leadership skills within the clinical environment. Using advanced skills and oncology knowledge, be able to work alongside and in place of the Ward Manager when required, ensuring safety of our patients and that a high level of care is delivered and maintained.
