We are looking for a Divisional Information Analyst to join our BI team. This role will be vital in ensuring that we deliver a high quality and innovative Business Intelligence service to the Clinical Divisions. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about data and analysis who can work with our clinical and operational colleagues to make data and intelligence a part of everyday decisions.
The Trust has invested in a new data warehouse and new reporting tools and we need someone to be responsible for leading on analytics for the three Clinical Divisions.
This would be an ideal role for someone who has a passion for data and ideally extensive experience and detailed understanding of NHS Information. They would need to be able to provide expert analytics advice to a wide range of customers.
The Team is currently working in a blended fashion with an opportunity to work in our Wirral Centre or Liverpool Spine offices or to work at home. As this is part of our support to the Clinical Teams, they would also need to work at our new cancer hospital in the centre of Liverpool.
Main duties of the job
The Divisional Information Analyst will work closely with Divisional Managers, Clinicians and the wider business intelligence team to provide high quality business intelligence information and analysis to support the Divisional's objectives and business needs. They will become a core member of the areas they support and work to drive improvements in data management and analysis within the Divisions.
The Divisional Information Analyst will be responsible for the development, design and maintenance of health related datasets and complex information and analysis. They will provide advice and guidance on specialist analysis. They will assist in streamlining the information reporting processes and ensure appropriately analysed information is available to aid policy decisions in a timely manner.
The Divisional Information Analyst will ensure that all information produced across the department adheres to the Business Intelligence methodology. They will work with the Business Intelligence Development Team, Principal Information Analyst, stakeholders within the organisation to develop a set of standards for internal information reporting. Working to ensure no duplication of reports and provide assurance to the Head of Business Intelligence that all internal information is fit for purpose and available through a single Business Intelligence portal linked to the data warehouse and fully reconcilable.
