Are you an experienced paediatric physiotherapist with knowledge, skills and experience of working with children with orthopaedic and rheumatological conditions?

An exciting and rare opportunity has risen for a permanent position within the paediatric orthopaedic physiotherapy team.

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our friendly, busy department at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust.

This is a permanent part-time position.

Main duties of the job

This post will hold a caseload of children and young people with paediatric specific orthopaedic and/or rheumatological conditions their families, carers across the age range from birth to 18 years old.

To provide a high standard of physiotherapy to paediatric patients with orthopaedic and/or rheumatological conditions.

To provide Specialist assessment, treatment and goal setting with orthopaedic and rheumatological paediatric patients and their families/carers

To provide a high standard of physiotherapy to paediatric patients with orthopaedic and/or rheumatological conditions.

Some patients may have complex and or chronic presentations. To determineclinical diagnosis and physiotherapy treatment as indicated.

To maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.

To develop highly specialist skills under the guidance of the senior staff.

To attend clinical level discussions/meetings related to your area of work as delegated bythe Clinical team Lead.

To be based at Royal Cornwall Hospital - Treliske -although there may be someopportunity to cover outlying clinics
