Job summary

We are pleased to offer this exciting job opportunity. The successful applicant will be an integral member of the Clinical Imaging Management Team, ensuring the safe, efficient and cost effective delivery of the CT service across multiple sites.

Main duties of the job

To ensure professional and technical standards are always maintained, by regularly reviewing practice, in accordance with local and national policies and guidelines where appropriate.

To work as part of a team providing flexible service delivery as required which includes providing a 7 day and out of hours CT service.

To be accountable for the CT radiography service and manage the direct daily delivery of the service, effectively prioritising workload and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

To be accountable for the community-based CT service across Cornwall and manage the direct daily delivery of the service, effectively prioritising workload and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

To work directly with Team Leaders in all other modalities within Clinical Imaging to ensure the most effective use of staffing resources.

To lead the supervision and operational management of radiographers, assistant practitioners, clinical imaging assistants and students within CT based at RCHT and Community sites.
