Main duties of the job

By working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders, the Research Delivery Manager will ensure the growth and sustainability of the CRDC and the Research and Development Department. This role will not only support the ongoing development of the RCHT research portfolio but also ensure that the local community has increased access to valuable research opportunities.

In line with the strategic vision for the CRDC, the Manager will oversee the implementation of a comprehensive project plan and timeline aimed at decentralising commercial research activities across the region. This initiative is essential to ensure that research opportunities are accessible to a broader population, empowering communities to take part in ground breaking studies.

The CRDC Manager will also be prioritising community engagement and Public Patient Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) to underpin the CRDC development. This approach will be critical in ensuring the centre remains closely aligned with the needs of the local population, as well as ensuring the successful growth and impact of the CRDC within the broader healthcare and research landscape.
