Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is continuing its digital and clinical transformation journey that will change the way in which we deliver care across Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly, and the South West Peninsula. eCare, the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Programme will underpin everything we do for our patients, our people, and our communities.
The Lead eLearning Developer will report to the Digital Training Manager. You will be part of a wider Training Team with approximately 20 staff who will be training, educating and coaching staff on the digital systems across Cornwall. These roles will provide managerial resource to the eLearning developers and help manage, develop and deliver business as usual and eCare eLearning.
Applicants should expect to be primarily office based at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske site, Truro but travel to other sites may be necessary.
Unfortunately, due to budgetary constraints we are unable us to support visa sponsorship for this role.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work collaboratively with the Trust's Clinical staff, subject matter experts, project managers and Digital IT Trainers from across Health Care and Social care in Cornwall, regarding course content and implementation with consideration for future deployment on virtual/ mobile platforms.
Manage the growing portfolio of e-learning and prioritise the process for all e- learning requests, working with the team to ensure deadlines are met within agreed timeframes.
The post holder will develop mandatory training e-learning courses in line with the Trust's annual requirements.

- Degree in digital learning/media studies or similar or equivalent experience
- Project management qualification (PRINCE2 Foundation or similar) or equivalent experience
- Qualification in education and training (Level 3 Award in Education and Training or similar) or equivalent experience
- Degree or proven IM & T experience and professional IT qualification such as ECDL5
- Evidence of continuing professional development

- Proven experience of teaching class sizes of up to 10 people of varying skill levels and backgrounds.
