Job summary

The Occupational Health & Wellbeing department have the opportunity to welcome Band 5 nurses to join their clinical team at the Royal Cornwall hospital. The post holder will undertake a range of clinical activities including Skin assessments, immunisation assessments and administration as well as occupational health screening requirements. The post holders will contribute to the delivery of services on both NHS and non-NHS customers.

Main duties of the job

You will undertake a variety of clinical duties which will include, health screening activities (eg Spirometry, audiometry), venepuncture as well as administration of occupational related immunisations and Skin assessments.

The post holders will be required to drive throughout Cornwall Providing clinic visits, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential for the post.

There are various hours currently available.

  • Good General Eduational

Experience

  • Post Registration experience which demonstrates sound clinical knowledge and evidence based practice
  • Ability to work well in both team and on own iniative
  • IT Literate
  • Dermatology expereince

  • Previouys recent NHS experience
  • Previous recent Occupational Health experience
