In order to ensure that we continue to deliver excellent nursing care, we are currently recruiting qualified Paediatric nurses to join our dynamic Nursing team.
As part of our team, you will be supported in your own professional development, and encouraged to take personal ownership for the high levels of care we provide to our patients and their families.
The acute paediatric area consists of the following:
Fistral - 10 beds for medical and surgical patients aged 11-16 years;
CLIC - 4 cubicles for children and young people with cancer and leukaemia
Harlyn - 8 day beds for surgical and medical.
Polkerris - 12 beds for children and young people with both medical and surgical problems.
Paediatric Assessment Unit for assessment and initial management.
Paediatric High Dependency Unit - 3 level two beds.
The successful candidate will be provided with the exciting opportunity to rotate between all of these areas.

This role is full-time for 37.5 hours per week. However part time opportunities are also available.
Main duties of the job
To work as a skilled member of the nursing team, to provide a high standardof holistic family centred care to the children and families.
To promote family centred care and establish good relationships withchildren and their families.
To communicate effectively at all levels within the multi-disciplinary team.
