We have created a new senior role for the unit of a Sister or Charge nurse who will run the shift (days and nights). Under the NIC will be 2 band 6's who will oversee the delivery and standards of care for each side of the unit. If you have significant experience in leadership and managing a busy environment this this role may be for you.

We would love to hear from highly motivated senior nurses with who can fulfil the following criteria:

Degree level of education (or working towards) / or relevant demonstrable experience

Current experience of clinical leadership in acute medicine or emergency care

Current NMC registrant.

Post-registration qualification in emergency care - for example - ATNC/ATCC /ALS

Post registration education qualification (or working towards) and mentorship qualification.

This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week.

The leadership element of this role is essential and candidates must be able to demonstrate their skills to:

- Be a role model / effective leader

- Exercise leadership skills to act as a catalyst for change.
