Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, reliable individual to support the Peripheral Sites Care Group as Clinical Matron at Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske.
The successful individual will support and will liaise closely with the Care Group Head of Nursing, Clinical Director and Care Group General Manager to ensure effective clinical management and support to The Trauma service.
The successful individual will need to be a highly competent, visible, and an experienced leader, capable of functioning effectively and autonomously. They will use their expert knowledge and skills to develop safe, effective pathways of care, for all patients who access the Trauma service.
The successful individual will work closely with the Head of Nursing and General Manager to ensure the services run effectively, efficiently, and deliver best practice for all of our patients, with the clear vision to reduce health inequalities, improve outcomes, ensure safe care and provide on-going and sustainable support to all of our patients.
This is a full-time post, working 37.5 hours per week.
