Job summary
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) department assisting in the smooth running of MRI scanning, there will be the occasional requirement to support Computed Tomography (CT) scanning lists and other departments in clinical imaging as required. Within this role you will be required to perform dedicated specialised tasks specific to the area you are working in. The post holder will also be expected to provide support to the multidisciplinary team across the wider clinical imaging service to deliver high standards of patient care.
This role is based at RCH but there will be an expectation that the successful will rotate to Bodmin CDC as required. For this reason, transport and a driving licence are required
The post holder is expected to hold an NVQ at level 3 within healthcare or working towards it.
Main duties of the job
A member of the clinical imaging team, helping to provide high standards of care.
Comply with local and Trust procedures to ensure health and safety in the workplace.
Undertake clinical procedures, with a degree of autonomy to support pre, peri and post procedural care.
Support the practitioners in managing clinical workflow through the service
Undertake general administrative and clerical duties as required.
Support new members of the CIA team in their development.
