We will support you in your personal development and career aspirations. We welcome interest from psychologists with experience at Band 8a, and those earlier in their career looking for a preceptorship role; or with experience in other areas of child psychology eager to broaden their skills and experience, and grow into a Band 8a role. To support members of the Chronic Pain team, and also the Chronic Fatigue service in their delivery of psychologically informed care. These services have a small amount of clinical psychologist time supporting their services, therefore the model is mainly consultation with the teams and offering extended assessments for families to work towards shared understanding and formulation of the difficulties they are experiencing and giving advice and guidance to families.

Enthusiastically contributing to the department of paediatric clinical health psychology as a compassionate member of the team, developing resources, modes of working (workshops, groups), creative and flexible ways of working with children, young people and their families and the professionals we work alongside.
