Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join our well-established team in this ground-breaking virtual role. This post will cover general dermatology and could also include paediatric elements. The team are keen to develop a virtual lesion service to complement the existing sub-specialities, and therefore an interest in service development would be essential as we change the face of medicine in Cornwall.
This is a new full time (10 PA) virtual consultant dermatologist post. This role will include 1 PA for service development to deliver our virtual vision.
Main duties of the job
Job Purpose
- Deliver outpatient clinics remotely using a virtual platform
- To share with colleagues responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Dermatology service albeit via digital platforms
- To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.
- To attend meetings as appropriate.
- Lead on delivering a robust virtual dermatology as the number one priority service for Cornwall.

- GMC Specialist Register or within six months of obtaining CCT (or equivalent)
