Job summary
We have an opportunity for an individual to join us here at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust as we transform the way we deliver healthcare across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Your role will incorporate clinic and endoscopy; out of hours GI bleed commitment as well as inpatient workloads, giving a wide variety to the working day.

Main duties of the job

- Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of Gastroenterology patients.
- To share with colleagues responsibility for the day to day management of the Gastroenterology department.
- Teaching and training of junior staff and medical students where applicable.
- To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing medical education (CME).
- To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.
- To attend meetings as appropriate.
