Clinical Fellow Respiratory Medicine with a special interest in Lung Cancer
Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow in Respiratory medicine with a special interest in lung cancer, to undertake training at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro. This is a Trust Doctor post. No previous experience in respiratory medicine or oncology is required but NTN holders in respiratory medicine are also welcome to apply.
The successful applicant will undertake clinical work to improve their knowledge and skills in respiratory medicine, specifically lung cancer management. The main body of work will be assessing patients in 3 weekly suspected lung cancer clinics and involvement in the lung multi-disciplinary team meeting. We would also encourage the development of bronchoscopy and Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) skills in addition to other diagnostic skills such as pleural aspiration and neck ultrasound.
There is no on call or out of hours commitments.
