Job summary

TRUST DOCTOR Obstetrics and Gynaecology:

Post CCT OR NTN holders ST3 + for 6 months fixed term contract

Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.

The successful applicant will work alongside the Benign Gynaecology Consultants gaining additional experience in various sub specialties.

The post holder will join the middle-grade rota working a 1 in 8 on call for O&G.

Applicants are required to be GMC registered with a Licence to Practice . Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share. Please state area of interest in application.

Main duties of the job

  • Clinical and non-clinical work in the middle grade in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
  • Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of Obstetrics and Gynaecology patients.
  • Active participation in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.
  • Attend meetings as appropriate.
  • Fulfill duties of weekly timetable including any out-of-hours responsibilities (where applicable).
