The Department is seeking a General Buyer who will be responsible for undertaking the purchase of a delegated range of goods and services in our non-clinical team and ensure that purchase orders and related activity are undertaken in a timely and cost effective manner.
Main duties of the job
The General Buyer will be required to collect and analyse data, to ensure that the most efficient practices and routes of supply are utilised, the post holder will also liaise with stakeholders across the organisation and external suppliers to ensure the right equipment is purchased.
