Kernowflex (Bank) AHP Quality Improvement Network Facilitator

Band 7 - Band 8a. Zero hours contract

This role is hosted by the Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust on behalf of the AHP Quality Improvement Network, a special interest group formed through the Q community. The network is excited to offer this unique opportunity with support from Health Foundation funding.

The role has been developed to support the growth of the AHPQI network which is a virtual community across the United Kingdom. The AHP Quality Improvement Network Facilitator is unique opportunity to work across a national footprint to co-ordinate and facilitate network growth and engagement across the UK to develop network maturity. The role is expected to collaborate with the regional network connectors, the communication leads, and the core leadership team known as the convenors.

Main duties of the job

  • Report to the national convenor leadership team who provide the network leadership and programme oversight to drive forward change and provide ethe interface between national and regional programmes.
  • Support the national convenor leadership team to develop a formal, collaborative regional and sub-regional leadership model and associated infrastructure to deliver network resilience by building strong relationships with strategic leaders and other partners across the region including academic science networks and AHP councils.
  • The post-holder will be exposed to high level interaction and decision-making within AHP networks and develop a detailed understanding of AHP improvement requirements and delivery.
  • They will be supported to build and develop their professional leadership skills and will have the opportunity to join key regional and national meetings as part of the network delivery.
