Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Administrative Team within the Division of Theatres and Critical Care.
The post holder will be one of a small reception team which provided administrative support, who will provide essential administrative functions, whilst interfacing with clinical and administrative staff, patients and the general public. The service supports many departments and Directorates throughout the Trust and you would be expected to carry out a variety of administrative tasks to allow you to support clinical, nursing and administrative teams.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the role are to undertake clerical and administrative duties, supporting the provision of an efficient and effective service to the Division of Theatres Reception areas, and all service users throughout the Trust.
You will greet patients, take phone calls, deal with queries, signpost or forward calls as required. You will also contribute to effective communication links between all members of the team, and associated Directorates and maintain accurate electronic information systems, with previous experience of Meditech Version 6 being desirable.
Proven all round administration skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and computer literacy are essential. Excellent organisational skills and time management are also integral to the role.
At times you may be expected to work across sites, Trust Wide to support the needs to of the Theatres Division.
The hours of this role are shift patterns during core business hours of Monday to Friday 07:00 18:00
