An Exciting opportunity has opened in the Respiratory Unit to recruit on a fixed term basis to cover Maternity leave for a band 2 Admin/receptionist post.

If you are looking for a role that is engaging and diverse then this could be the role for you. The post is central to the running of the Respiratory Unit, where we have daily clinics, procedures, and diagnostic testing.

You need to be able to adapt to change, be comfortable conversing with the public, as this is a public/patient facing role.

Main duties of the job

Greeting Patients

Checking in pts on Meditech

Managing patient pending lists

Booking and changing appointments on a routine and urgent basis

Creating pathways on meditech to ensure appropriate appointments.

Supporting the nurses to ensure audits are up to date

Managing stock levels in department, ordering stock and non stock items

Managing phone calls and answer machines messages to ensure no delays in patient care and timely messages to clinicians
