An exciting
opportunity has arisen within the Head and Neck Centre at South Tyneside and
Sunderland STSFT for an experience Registered Dental Practitioner to join our multi-speciality
service covering ENT, Oral maxillofacial surgery and Orthodontics.
Our services
are delivered to inpatients and on and off site out patients, which covers a
wide ranging geographical area. The role of this post is to provide specialised
Head and Neck care to the patients who access the service. The dental nurse
will operate as a skilled member of the team both on and off site.
There are very
few dental nurses employed by the Trust due to the nature of their specialist
skills and the Head and Neck speciality requirements.
We could not
deliver the increasing business in OMFS and the growing Orthodontic service
without them. This is a unique opportunity for a general Dental Nurse to
develop and progress in the Head and Neck speciality.
Main duties of the job
The
ideal candidate will join the team to support the delivery of trust vision and
values, be responsible and accountable for the safe, effective and
compassionate care delivered to our patients.
The post is for
29.25 hours, Monday to Friday with shifts starting and finishing between
08:00am and 6:00pm
The Head and
Neck Centre has a large team of Registered Nurses, Dental Nurses and HCAs, who
work on site at Sunderland Royal Hospital and off site areas across the region.
