Job summary
An
exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced dental nurse to train to be
an Orthodontic Therapist. A therapist is an integral part of the
multidisciplinary team, requiring specialised clinical skills to contribute to
the delivery of the service.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will provide orthodontic treatment on
prescription from the consultant orthodontist and under supervision.
Duties will include the provision of high quality dental care under the
prescription of a Orthodontic Consultant for a group of patients, many of whom
have complex needs.
You must be fully registered with the UK General Dental
Council and have excellent communication skills and be sensitive to the needs
of the patient.
