Junior Sister/Charge Nurse

We are delighted that the opportunity has arisen for us to recruit a full time, self-motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic Band 6 Junior Sister/Junior Charge Nurse to join our team. This post will involve working on a busy paediatric surgical ward and also working in the attached Paediatric Pre-assessment Clinic.

The ward delivers a 24-hour service and staff work on a rota to ensure service needs are met. The successful applicant will rotate between the ward area and the pre-assessment clinic.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a confident, competent, enthusiastic and motivated applicant who will provide the highest standard of holistic care to children, young people and their families. You must have excellent communication skills and be innovative in your approach. You should have a wide range of clinical expertise in paediatric nursing as well as experience of working with the multidisciplinary team.
