Job summary
We are looking
to recruit a permanent Team Leader (Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist)
into the Interface Team based at Sunderland Royal Hospital which is an upgrade
of an existing Band 6 role.The team is
made up of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists with Assistant
Practitioners and a Technical Instructor.
The team provides assessment for admission avoidance working into ED and
EAU and also supports discharge from shorter stay areas in the hospital.
Main duties of the job
This role
involves providing day to day clinical leadership to the Interface front of
house team and the Interface Falls Team as well as first line HR
responsibility, roster planning and any service development requirements.
Support and
supervision will be provided from Occupational Therapy department management.
The working
hours are 33 per week which are worked over 3 x 11 hour shifts, without a set
pattern, and does also involve some weekend and bank holiday working.
