Main duties of the job

You will be involved in supporting our reception, appointments processes and general enquiries, providing excellent and timely administrative services to our patients.

You should be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with passes in English Language and Maths or equivalent literacy and numeracy skills or an NVQ (or equivalent) in Administration or other relevant subject. Effective IT skills are essential as all work is undertaken using a variety of software packages. Previous use of a healthcare information support system would also therefore be advantageous. Previous recent administrative experience with a focus on customer care is essential.

The Radiology Department is open seven days per week, 24 hours per day. Administrative staff work across all seven days, working from 8.00am to 7.30pm, Monday to Friday, plus weekends and Bank Holidays.
