Job summary
Providing a
positive patient experience is at the heart of everything we do at South
Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for an excellent registered
nurse to be part of a dynamic team delivering on the patient experience
priorities in line with the National Patient Experience Framework. The role
will include patient and staff engagement, data analysis, report writing,
involvement in quality improvement projects, multi-agency working as well as
acting as a ambassador for patient experience. This is an exciting opportunity
to build on the work that is already underway to provide patient centred care.
This role will offer variety and the opportunity to work with clinical teams
across the organisation to ensure that the voice of patients, carers and family
members are heard and included at the heart of Trust's activities.

Main duties of the job
Manage a portfolio of patient experience improvement
projects identifying areas for improvement reporting to the Lead Nurse for
Patient Experience in line with local and National priorities.
Develop successful working relationships with clinical
teams throughout the organisation
Produce regular and accurate reports, both qualitative and
quantitative, identifying any trends or themes ensuring these are escalated and
managed appropriately.
Lead engagement with patients, families, carers to seek and
share feedback to drive improvements and embed Patient & Family Centred
Care in line with Trust strategies. Work collaboratively with outside agencies
to ensure the best possible experience for patients carers and their family
members.
Cross cover with other Patient Experience staff as
required.
