Job summary
Could you be our next PR and Social Media Assistant? We are looking for a creative individual to join our award-winning communications and engagement team and help deliver our digital and social media strategy. You will play a key role supporting the planning, delivery and evaluation of PR activity. This includes responsibility for recording and editing interview content for our award-winning People Podcast. You will report to our Media and PR Manager and your work will be focussed on building our STSFT brand and reputation using various tools and channels
Main duties of the job
Overall job purpose / dimensions:
Sourcing, recording and editing interview content for the Trusts People Podcast
Helping to plan and manage digital activity, with a particular focus on external social media engagement and website content management
Drafting materials such as social media / digital content and writing / editing communications such as press releases and newsletters
- Daily management of all external social media channels including planning a proactive daily schedule of activity and responding to interactions (liaising internally with various teams and departments as necessary)
- Supporting the team to respond to daily internal and external enquiries (including media) in relation to all aspects of Trust business
Monitoring media coverage, social media engagement and compiling data analysis / feedback reports for the Director of Communications
Maintaining effective distribution lists and contact databases to manage stakeholder relationships and keeping logs of enquiries
Supporting the team in planning and delivering a wide range of internal and external events and activities
