About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Data Quality and Assurance Department. The Data Quality Clerk will investigate, validate and correct data quality issues. The main responsibility of this post is to ensure the patient record is accurate and up to date throughout the Meditech System.
The successful candidate will be well organised, have good IT skills in order to update information in clinical systems, have good attention to detail and accuracy is essential. The post holder must be self-motivated and be able to scan through information to identify pertinent problems. The post holder will be able to trouble shoot first line problems such as mixed up records, trace demographics, unpick and fix admission errors.
Main duties of the job
Good educational background is required, including relevant Level 2 qualification, e.g. GCSE/NVQ/Numeracy and Literacy. Experience of Microsoft Office packages, Excel, Word and experience of working with the Trusts Meditech V6 system and/or the National Summary Care Record system would be advantageous although full training would be provided.
