Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding individual to work as the Assurance Manager for South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a programme of work to support providing assurance to the Trust, ensuring it is compliant with regulatory requirements and key priorities set out in the Quality Strategy.
Main duties of the job
The role is broad ranging, including coordinating and delivering the Trusts CQC Assurance Programme, central oversight of governance and risk management. Excellent planning and coordination skills to deliver key pieces of work within tight deadlines are essential. The Assurance Manager will manage a portfolio of work as delegated by the Head of Risk and Assurance, with line management responsibility of the staff within the Assurance Team.
Candidates must be educated to degree level, supported by post-graduate study or equivalent level of experience. The post holder is required to have substantial experience of data collection, analysis and report writing skills, with confidence to present these to groups where necessary. Proficient and advanced IT skills are essential to carry the role out to a high standard.
