Job summary
We are looking to recruit a highly
motivated Nurse Manager of our highly specialised community Dermatology
service.
The Clinical Team Manager will take
responsibility for the day to day functioning of a very busy dermatology,
service, ensuring that clinical work is being delivered to a high standard.
They will be responsible for ensuring that the teams pathways are managed,
that staff are adequately trained, supervised and work to the British
Association of Dermatology standards. They will work with the senior team on
service redesign and facilitate change to ensure that services develop as
needed and continue to meet the needs and safety of patients, always.
Main duties of the job
The clinical
team manager will line manage the dermatology team and lead the clinical team
to ensure continual quality improvement and clinical governance. They will
provide a high level of clinical knowledge and experience to help inform
clinical decisions for the patients. They will supervise and supportively
manage staff, enable recruitment of staff, sickness absence, be involved in
service development projects, participate in clinical governance and MDT
meetings, manage complaints and work closely with other partners. They will
work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to promote a culture
of compassionate, high-quality care and successful outcomes for patients.
