Due to
increased commissioning and service expansion, we have an exciting opportunity
for a skilled, enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Lead to join our Sunderland
Mental Health Support (Healthy Heads) Service.
Healthy
Heads works across designated schools in Sunderland providing low-intensity
interventions, training, advice and support with the aim of preventing mental
ill-health and promoting emotional wellbeing. The Clinical Lead works at a
strategic level, working with senior leaders across the Childrens and Young
Peoples Mental Health Services in continuous development and expansion of the
service.
If
successful you will be based at the Hetton Centre, but work on a regular basis
at designated schools across Sunderland. You will also work across STSFT Trust
sites and ICB bases. You will work closely with other Clinical Leads to provide
a seamless service for all children and young people in Sunderland.

Main duties of the job
The MHST is a
service offered 52 weeks per year Monday to Friday 9 am- 5 pm, mainly working
in schools but with a team base at the Hetton centre.
The Clinical
Lead is required to provide robust service performance data to the ICB to
demonstrate service impact. Close working relationships with educational leads
is essential.
