Job summary
An opportunity has arisen to join the Dental Service
covering South of Tyne and Wear on a 12 month fixed term basis. Duties will include the provision of high quality dental
care complementary to the General Dental Services for priority groups of
patients.
Working in a large and
supportive dental team, the post holder will be able to enhance their skills in
anxiety management, paediatric and special care dentistry.
Base TBC.
we will consider full time or part time applicants working a minimum of 3 days/week
Main duties of the job
The
post holder will work 10 sessions per week full time equivalent and be expected
to meet the competencies for a Band A dentist.
You must be fully
registered with the UK General Dental Council and be eligible for the National
Dental Performers List without conditions or restrictions.
You will be able to demonstrate relevant clinical
experience and have evidence
in a portfolio of continuing professional development. You must also have excellent communication
skills, and be sensitive to the needs of relevant patient groups
