Community CAMHS is looking for an exceptional individual who is dedicated to work with children and
young people and keen to take up this brilliant opportunity of Primary Mental
Health Specialist.
We are looking for an individualwho has the ability to both
deliver high quality interventions, and develop the skills and knowledge of
universal child practitioners in child and adolescent mental health.
Our Sunderland Community CAMH Service is a well-established
innovative and creative targeted (Tier 2/Getting Help) child and adolescent
mental health service.
The skilled individual will join a multi-disciplinary team in the
development and delivery of interventions that identify mental health
difficulties at the earliest stage, and facilitate the provision of services
that promote resilience, and enable positive mental health. The service is comprised of generic and
specialist Workers.
Main duties of the job
The service
is proud of its strong multi-disciplinary ethos within its clinical delivery
and has robust clinical supervision, workload management and Continuing
Professional Development structures in place.

The successful applicant must have
the necessary professional qualification, including current registration as
outlined in the person specification i.e nursing, OT and SW or a completed
CYP-IAPT recognised course.

Significant experience of
working with Children and Young People in the role of a CAMH Clinician.
