Job summary
We have some exciting training opportunities in the Sunderland
Mental Health Support Team (MHST) and are seeking to recruit enthusiastic
motivated individuals to be part of our growing team.
To be considered for the training - you will be educated
to degree level and have recent experience of working with children and young
people.
The MHST is a relatively new service and works across
designated schools in Sunderland supporting children and young people with
low to moderate mental health needs between the ages of 5 to 18 years. We provide
low-intensity interventions and offer also group work. We also work with
parents and carers as part of this in addition we offer training and advice
and support to our school teams and other professionals.

locally at the Hetton Centre, and will work on a regular basis at designated

Main duties of the job
The MHST is a service offered 52 weeks per year Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm, The base is at the Hetton centre, but the service is delivered across school and community sites
