Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity available in our Admin Team currently working with Sunderland District Nursing Teams across the borough.
1 full time post available (37.5hours)
Main base will be Washington Primary Care Centre although there will be the expectation to travel to other bases to cover shortfalls across the service which can be on long or short term basis.
Other bases are:
Riverview Health Centre
Grindon Primary Care Centre
Houghton Primary Care Centre
Bunny Hill Primary Care Centre
The role is to work along side the district nursing team to take telephone calls and referrals via EMIS to ensure patients are receiving visits from the team in a timely manner following referral from various sources, such as the GP. Main duties of the job
Answering the Telephone to patients/relatives/carers.
Logging referrals via EMIS.
Ordering via stock and Non-Stock.
Scanning of Patient records.
