Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of an Associate Divisional Director to the Trust.

The individual will work as part of the Senior Management Team within/across divisions as part of the operational response and delivery of services. The post will see the successful applicant working closely with clinical and non-clinical staff across the operational patch, will deputise for the Divisional Director and take the strategic lead on key pieces of work related to the Divisions(s) in their area of responsibility. Work will be both internally and externally facing, with an opportunity to work across the system, providing system leadership with our partners across health and social care. Both planned and un-planned services are part of the responsibility and ensuring flow and access to and from the hospital and community settings will be a key focus.

The postholder will be required to participate on the on-call rota for the operational response out of hours.

Main duties of the job

Masters Degree qualification or evidence of being on the Masters pathway or equivalent experience. The applicant should also have at least 3 years experience working at senior management level. The diversity of the role will require an adaptive leadership style and a strong value base to support the delivery of the best care we can.

Working closely with and leading both clinical and non - clinical teams and aligning operational delivery to the vision and values of the organisation.

The role requires flexibility to meet service need and there is a requirement to be part of the on call rota.
