We are excited to be recruiting a Community Public Health
Nurse to our well established 0-19 team. Applications welcome from motivated

Main duties of the job
-
Work
in partnership with and experienced team of Health Visitors and School nurses
in the delivery of the Health Child Programme ranging from universal in reach
to targeted in response

Deliver
a range of support and advice to children, families and young people around
managing behaviour, toileting, sleep and nutrition

Support
public health activities e.g. sexual health, healthy weight and healthy
lifestyle choices
-
Work
with families, children and young people to support behaviour management and
behaviour change
-
To
work in partnership with Trust and South Tyneside Safeguarding Children &
Adults Partnership

To
assist in programmes of care for children 0-19 years with complex health needs
-
Skills
around record keeping and be able to use of IT systems

- 1st level NMC Registered Adult, Childrens Nurse or Midwife
Desirable
- Mentorship qualification/equivalent and or Practice Assessor training
- Degree in nursing studies or healthcare related subject
