We're looking for an experienced registered pharmacy technician with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our Pharmacy Aseptic Team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic and self-motivated professional to join our aseptic team at University Hospitals Dorset .
For this post training will include :
- In-house validation for
- TSET - Aseptic Processing Programme (on-line training)
- Cleanroom supervisor training (PWDS course)
- Pre and in process checking (PWDS course)
This post is starting at band 4 and upon successful completion of the listed training the post holder will progress to band 5.
You will be part of a team consisting of Pharmacists, Technicians and Assistants, who are always striving for excellence in all aspects of our work. We are working collaboratively as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team to ensure we always deliver outstanding care to our patients.
This is an exciting time to join the Hospital Aseptic Department. Our service is built around providing a high-quality service to our patients and staff of the Trust.
You will be required to work on the earlies/lates, weekends and bank holiday on a rotational format. You will also be required to work flexibly.

Main duties of the job
The Job Description outlines the roles of the Senior Aseptic Services Technician. You will work closely with and support the Lead and Deputy Lead Technician in the day to day running of the Technical Services aseptic suite, providing a quality, GMP compliant service, supplying aseptically prepared medicines including clinical trials, in a timely manner to all service users. You will act as a supervisor under the direction of the Deputy Lead Technician in the aseptic suite or its support areas and to line manage and act as a role model for junior members of staff.

This role requires General Pharmaceutical Council Registration.
Base location: Poole Hospital. Please note that you will be required to work across site.
