Job summary
Our Tissue Viability Team provides specialist advice and guidance for patients with complex wounds and plays a key role in education regarding pressure ulcer prevention and wound care. We are looking for someone with specialist tissue viability knowledge and expertise in wound care who had a desire to develop their skills in a senior role within our team.

Main duties of the job
To provide professional and clinical leadership and expertise in the specialty of tissue viability including:
- Leadership and line management of the Tissue Viability Team
- A Trust wide advisory role on all aspects of complex wound management and pressure ulcer prevention and management
- Development of policy and procedures related to complex wound care and pressure ulcer prevention
- Management of a clinical caseload
- Support the development and delivery of a Trust wide educational programme
- Use of quality improvement methodologies to drive improvements in patient care
