Senior Clinical Foot and Ankle Fellow - to start March 2026.
The Trauma and Orthopaedic Department at UHD are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team as a Fellow in Elective foot and ankle surgery and trauma.
This is an exciting time to join as we are currently made great progress with a vision in creating a first class fully integrated Trauma and Orthopaedic Service within our Bournemouth and Poole Hospital sites as part of the new University Hospitals Dorset.
This Fellowship offers a wealth of clinical experience which includes working in our Elective Orthopaedic Suiteand main theatres on the elective site and also participating in trauma on the Poole site.
We are primarily recruiting for a Fixed Term post starting in March 2026, but may consider applications for future fellowship rotations.
Applicants should be on the GMC Specialist Register and have at least 4 months NHS experience.

Main duties of the job
It is planned that the Senior Clinical Fellow would, after adequate training, operate independently.
The Fellowship will offer particular emphasis on training and research in foot and ankle surgery.
