Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse in Endoscopy at University Hospitals Dorset (based in Poole with cross site working at Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Wimborne Victoria Hospital as needed).You will need to be a hard-working and motivated team player committed to delivering high standards of patient centred care with excellent communication and organisational skills, a flexible attitude and you will need to demonstrate a commitment to your own personal development.The post holder must be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of gastroenterology and endoscopy. The successful candidate will support the Sister and deputise for them in their absence and be responsible for the coordination of the day to day running of the unit. They will work collaboratively with referring clinicians and other specialists as part of the multidisciplinary team. They will be pro- active in the development of other staffs' practice and also be able to show evidence of their own self development within their clinical role and non clinical role.
This role requires an Active UK NMC registration
Based at: Poole Hospital with rotations at Royal Bournemouth and Wimborne hospital
