Job summary
The colorectal unit at UHD is nationally renowned for minimally invasive colorectal cancer surgery, pelvic floor surgery, specialist pelvic endometriosis surgery (delivered jointly with the gynaecologists) and advanced proctology (laser, HRA). The appointee will be expected to deliver independent specialised care across the breadth of colorectal and general surgery according to the needs of the service but will be expected to focus on delivering the pelvic floor pathway and supporting the advanced proctology service.
