Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and innovative registered nurse to join the Occupational Health team and be involved in providing a proactive Occupational Health service to all the staff at UHD and a number of external clients.
The Occupational Health nurse will work autonomously in clinics and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, to deliver a comprehensive Occupational Health service that meets the health and wellbeing needs of the Trust and external contracts.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of occupational health work relevant to the banding, including pre-employment and fitness to assessments, immunisation programmes, health surveillance, management of sharps/contamination injuries, and health promotion.
This post will suit an organised, forward-thinking person who has excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident with using a variety of IT packages and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
