Job summary
Do you love working as a consultant in Emergency Medicine?
Ever fancied living on the beautiful south coast?
If the answer to the above 2 questions is yes, thenUniversity Hospitals Dorset (UHD) may be able to help.
We are looking to appoint a Locum Consultant in Emergency Medicine at University Hospitals Dorset and both hospitals are just a stone's throw from the glorious blue flag beaches of Bournemouth and Poole (we know we're biased).
Recently Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals have undergone merger into UHD,
and at present there is an Emergency Department at both Poole and Bournemouth sites, with RBH being thedesignated site for PCI and stroke thrombolysis, and Poole being the designated Major Trauma Unit as well as in patient paediatric services.
This is all set to change at the end of 2024 when the Trauma Unit status moves across to Bournemouth and the ED will move into a new state of the art department in the Beach Building, alongside Paediatrics, Critical Care and Maternity.
