Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Trust's team of Advanced Nurse Practitioners in Older People's Services.

The successful applicant will be based within the recently expanded ACP-led RACE Clinic /OPS SDEC RBH which provides same day emergency care for older patients presenting with a variety of medical conditions. Successful applicants should be prepared to undertake a 3 year part time MSc ACP programme with the university and will be offered Band 7 until this qualification is achieved and a digital badge obtained.

Once the candidate has completed this course and undertaken agreed clinical and leadership competencies for the role they will move up to a band 8a position.

We are seeking to appoint an individual who is passionate about progressing services for older people, is self-motivated and possess excellent communication and clinical skills.

Rota: Long days 7.30 - 8pm, some weekends and bank holidays.

Base Location: Poole Hospital
